Some Children Find Learning Their Times Tables Very Challenging

We all recognise that knowing your Times Tables makes Maths a lot easier. If your child finds Maths lessons easy they will be more likely to find them enjoyable.

But not everyone can memorize numbers, some children (and adults) require a mental picture to help them visualise the answer.

The inability to learn the Times Tables can result in a lowering of a child's self esteem during Maths lessons. It is therefore vital that all children, no matter what their ability to memorize and remember things is, are given an equal chance to learn by offering them an alternative way from the traditional method.

Many memory techniques involve stories and pictures to aid recall so why shouldn't we use the technique to remember our Times Tables.

The Times Table Stories are fun and easy to remember. The number characters all have a personality which make the stories interesting and fun to read. The reading age is for children aged 7 to 11 years. Younger children or children who struggle with their reading will benefit from the stories being read to them.

These stories make learning the Times Tables fun and easy for all children whatever their Mathmatical or learning ability.
